Ford transit sliding door won t lock.

Now will not respond to even a hard door slam and vehicle with 8 000 in stock and parts is not lockable. I have a similar problem in my ford focus when locking using the central locking fob door all doors will lock and then immediately reopen. I have managed to get into the rear of the transit like houdini and manage to unlock the black knob on the inside of the sliding door. Removed mechanism and fitted new mechanism to side door still wont lock have you any advice wiring seems ok.
